Is Formula one Future is in DARK?

With breaking away of 8 F1 teams from FIA almost certain, F1 future is looking dark. Setting up of alternate championship to F1 is also on cards.
Its the biggest crisis in the F1 60 year history. If break up happens it will be the biggest setback for FIA President Max Mosley.
The Formula one teams association (FOTA) met at headquarters of Renault team near Oxford and said that though they wanted to sort out the issue of budget capping with FIA but there is no progress.
so FOTA issued a statement and said
“The teams therefore have no alternative other than to commence the preparation for a new championship which reflects the values of its participants and partners."
“This series will have transparent governance, one set of regulations, encourage more entrants and listen to the wishes of the fans.”

The FOTA consists of
-Ferrari
-Mc Laren
-Brawn GP
-Reanult
-BMW Sauber
-Toyota
-Red Bull racing and
-Toro rosso

FOTA also accused Eccelestone who holds commercial rights of F1, the statement reads
"The FIA and the commercial rights holder (Ecclestone) have campaigned to divide FOTA."
