Vision 2015: Oil Sector

Vision 2015 for "Consumer Satisfaction and Beyond" is finalized by Minster of Petroleum and Natural Gas Mr Murali Deora.

• The vision would be focussed to provide satisfactory services to customers.
• It covers 4 broad areas, LPG, Kerosene, Auto Fuels and CNG/PNG.
• LPG connections to be increased to cover 75% of population from present 50% and 100% coverage in villages with poulation over 5 Lakhs.
• LPG connections to be released mainly in Rural areas and on low covergage areas.
• SMS booking to be started on villages with population over 5 lakhs.
• '139' will be uniform number for customer complaints all over India.
• Common kitchens to be set up in villages with population more than 5000.
• Premium service for delivery as per desire time.
