100 days action plan for Coal Sector

100 days ation plan for Coal sector has been announced today. Announcng the plan Mr Sriprakash Jaiswal Minister of state for Coal said "in view of increasing demand of coal in the country, it is imperative that coal production should be increased beyond the set target".
some of the highlights of 100 days action plan are

• Starting of ‘Forward e-auction’ to meet long term requirement of actual consumers.
• Mine closure guidelines.
• Barsingsar mine cum Thermal power project(125 MW) to be commissioned.
• satellite based reports for land restoration.
• Coal Gasification projects publishing guidelines.
