Anchor Investor: A nod from SEBI

• SEBI in their board meeting today given nod to Anchor Investor concept. In this concept issuer who makes public issue of shares through book buiding can allocate 30% to QIB (Qualified Institutional Buyers). Other decision taken by SEBI board includes:-
  · Shareholders can offer their share holdings for sale if he has held shares for at least for a year.
  · No listed company can issue shares with superior voting rights.
  · Rights issue offering disclosures are rationalized to make right issue process faster and also will reduce overall cost.
  · Entry load to Mutual funds scheme is abolished.
