Worlds Second Cloned Buffalo is named "GARIMA"

National Dairy Research Institute has successfully cloned World's 2nd buffalo in Karnal, Haryana.
Earlier this year in Feb 2009 they were able to clone World's first cloned buffalo but she couldn't survive for long.
The technique used in cloning was advanced "Hand-Guided Cloning Technique" which can be used to produce elite breed of buffalos and of desired sex.
The details of cloned buffalos are as follows:
Named as GARIMA
Female
43 kg at time of Birth.

Dr A.K.Srivastava was head of scientists involved in this cloning experiment.
